Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dishwasher.
Regular Cleaning of Filters
Ensure that the filters are cleaned regularly to maintain optimal performance. Under no circumstances should the dishwasher be used without filters. Incorrect positioning and fitting of the filters will lead to poor washing results.
Cleaning Spray Arms
Never attempt to remove the upper spray arm. If residues clog the holes in the spray arm, they should be removed carefully with a toothpick to ensure proper water flow during washing cycles.
Detergent and Rinse Aid Maintenance
Regularly check and refill the detergent and rinse aid dispensers. Ensure that the correct type of detergent is used to avoid any operational issues with the appliance.
Regularly Run Maintenance Wash
It is recommended every 3 months to run a 65°C wash programme without dishes using detergent to clean the machine and prevent build-up.
Proper Levelling of the Appliance
Ensure that the dishwasher is correctly levelled to avoid door closure issues. Adjust the feet as necessary to ensure the appliance is stable and the door seals properly.
